2. Decide on the Wedding Theme
The theme governs every little detail of a wedding, including the rings, colors, wedding dress, floral decorations, table settings, and even invitations. Therefore, to avoid wasting time and money, the theme should be determined before any preparations are made.
3. Determine the Budget
The budget, in most cases, is a major concern when it comes to the idea of a dream wedding. Before getting started, every bride should have a clear budget and, even better, we recommend that our future brides have a budget plan outlining the budget for each aspect of her wedding. Every bride wants to look her best on her big day. This may include losing or gaining weight, growing out or cutting her hair, etc. Our advice is not to wait until that day to scream that you need a beauty plan; make a plan in advance and follow it strictly. Because the last thing on earth we want to see is a bride who is unhappy with herself at her own wedding.
5. Save the Dress
Finding the perfect wedding dress is as difficult as finding the perfect man; it takes time. Therefore, as soon as you find your dress, or even just a picture of it, save it immediately. And trust us, it will help!
6. Start an Inspiration Board
What is an inspiration board? It can be a board, a note, anything that can hold all the ideas that inspire you, all the little things that you love and want to have on your big day.
7. Decide on the Size of the Wedding
Think carefully about the number of guests you want to invite to your wedding. One of the many common mistakes every bride can make is inviting everyone whose wedding you have ever attended. It is really unnecessary. Our advice is to only invite people whom you cannot bear to have miss the happiest moment of your life.
For Vietnamese brides, we know that sometimes choosing your own guest list feels like an impossible task because your parents want to invite everyone they know. Our advice is to hold 2 different parties, 1 for your parents and 1 for you. At the end of the day, no one wants to argue with their beloved parents just because of the guest list.
8. Start Your Guest List
After deciding on the size of the wedding, you should determine the guest list. Do not finalize it right away, as you may miss someone truly important. However, starting the guest list early will make preparations easier, especially for weddings held elsewhere.

Once you have an overview of your big day, what are you waiting for? Announce it right away. This is a joyful celebration and everyone should know.

No bride should worry too much about preparing for her big day. Leave all the hard work to a professional. Hiring a wedding planner may seem expensive, but trust us, it is absolutely worth it. A good planner can make your big day unique, elegant, worry-free, meaningful, and truly your own.
